How to register on this forum - after spambot attack

There's been a underhand attack behind the scenes on the forum.

An automated spam bot has been attacking the registration section of this website since 1st January 2011 when I posted my Jo Yeates murder theories.

Which means it's now almost impossible to sort fake registrations from real ones.

In the meantime please register in the normal way - then email me tony@cultureshop.org.uk with ' 911 forum register' in the email subject and your username in the email somewhere, to register
As a result we are evaluating some alternatives and a move to phpbb3.

Does anybody know anybody who can put together a new front portal page for this forum that would work with phpbb3??

There seem to be problems for new people wishing to register on this site
Confirmation email sent but no account created
Accounts need to be created before being activated

Asking ISP to investigate and sort

ANYONE having trouble registering - please get in touch with the editor by emailing Tony on tony@cultureshop.org.uk with the user name you tried to register with & any emails you've had... Thanks
