Whatever happened to that 'Oxbridge' academic lauded on a BBC website for 'explaining' the universal freefall/near freefall collapse of the WTC towers unaided by explosives or exotic weaponry ? I recall some people here pursued him, what was the 'final score'? Second bygone... didn't people here also force the BBC to change their web page that attempted to rewrite history with "...WTC7 burned to the ground on 9/11..." or did I dream that? Finally has any 9/11 alleged salvaged 9/11 plane component ever been positively identified? As I understand it, this evidence has been made classified by the US authorities, can anyone help?

Steffen's paper was completely unintelligible...

Yes, the BBC news item on a 9/11 anniversary stating that the paper was "published" - actually it wasn't - it was published about 6 months later. In the meantime the BBC changed its web page from "published" to "about to be published".

No plane part has been positively identified. The Black Box data supposedly from the Pentagon Crash did not identify the make and type of Black Box and has a suspicious creation date on the data file, as described here:

Thank you for that 'scienceplease2' . Does anyone recall the BBC giving that false account ("WTC7 burned to the ground...")of the WTC7 collapse and having to correct it when challenged by truthers?

Says "collapsed in flames" towards the end of article

http://web.archive.org/web/200212041008 ... 497389.stm

says

"The 52-storey office tower will replace a slightly shorter building on the 7 World Trade Center site which burned to the ground after the twin towers collapsed."

...earlier in the article
