The Fall & Fall of 9/11 Truth Norway

I've decided to close down the website www.911truth.no and here are some of the reasons why.

First, we haven't had a single boardmeeting for the past 13 - thirteen - months. Last thing I heard from the supposed chairman of the board was that boardmeetings were boring, and with the average weak attendance at those meetings, he did not want to attend either. It would've been funny if it wasn't our own organisation that was going down the drain.

Second, important video interviews and filmed speaking events (DR Griffin) take a full 12 - twelve - months before being edited for public release. With stonewalling mainstream media and politicians, these videos are about the only chance we have to reach out to the Norwegian public.

Third, no-one even cares to submit an article or even a comment for the website.

Fourth, all initiatives towards attracting more members or having our first founding national plenary meeting are quite simply ignored.

Our first accountant spent a full 7 - seven - months NOT BEING ABLE to register a bank account for the organisation. The same guy now sits on the David Ray Griffin tapes and refuses to release them or let anyone else edit them in order to get them released before the First Anniversary of the May 2009 speaking event. Furthermore, when I inquired him about the progress of the editing work last June, he told me (the secretary) publicly on our mailinglist to «suck c*** and go to hell». He has also been spreading lies and evil slander about me on other websites, and grossly disrespected the rules of communication on our own networks.

My aim is not to take revenge on or accuse these people of anything - therefore I don't name any names - but I would like to ask you all if you won't agree with me that 9/11 Truth Norway needs a fresh start?

We need to attract more people and build the whole thing from the bottom up, is my suggestion. I'm open for advice and experience from other isles, but my feeling is that we do NOT have the right people for this sort of thing, and that it would be sheer madness to carry on as before.

I'd say we were a thoroughly dysfunctional activist organisation, and I'm willing to take my part of the blame for this. Yet, I think you'll find that most members think I've done more than my share and taken way more initiatives than the next person, for what it's worth.

Still, I'm an optimist and convinced that enough Norwegians have woken up for us to gather again in order to form a new collective with new tactics and spirit.

Have to admit on my last visit I could not link to other than the main page. (Server Error).
With the benefit of hindsight, it is clear that the ramification of 911 was more important in terms of human suffering than the event itself. Nevertheless persuading people to the realisation that truth of 77 and 911 was concealed from the public for political ends remains as a key factor in opening eyes to the wider picture.
Maybe a change of name to a more general in nature may help, while the 911 sites may be on the decline the wearechange sites appear to be on the ascendancy.

I think you should freeze the site and leave it as an archive.
Then you could put a prominent link in to 911 blogger and to here.
Much better than taking it down surely?

Tony, the plan is to put it all up again at some point in the near future.
