When I read this my thoughts turned immediately to my late father a Normandy Veteran who fought along with thousands of others to keep a certain amount of freedom and sanity in this country. Never thought i would play the "old veterans" card but on occasions like this i just had to.

Trouble is the impunity of the police. Is there a covert system of promoting and protecting bad cops and sacking good ones?

Yes very good I like it . Just bought some chalk off ebay. I notice its advertised as being great for pavements.

Can anyone find some cheaper supplies?

Perhaps we could start a new game of hopscotch where we number the pavements with chalk as usual but introduce caricatures of George Bush and instead of throwing a stone we use the now ubiquitous shoe.
