does anybody know what the facts are on this?

some scientists seem to think we could be going through one either now or within decades and that we are due 'one'.

alinment of our solar system with the centre of the galaxy is also due which some scientists say could cause a pole shift.

there is also the mayan calender date. and the seed vault being built.
