One amusing incident I hope you will all like. By clever manouvering a small group of Icke supporters/Truthers were at the location where Cameron's private helicopter was waiting to take him away after his trip to support Davis in the constituency. I went up to Cameron, shook him by the hand all friendly like, putting him at his ease. As his minders moved in to remove me, I put my arm around his shoulders and said "David, you are never going to be Prime Minister because we are going to expose you!". Just for a fleeting moment, there was a look of fear in his eyes. These people are actors - but just occasionally their masks will slip. And as for David Davis himself, we are going to make sure his moment of glory at the election count late Thursday night is bloody uncomfortable for him - he knows we are onto him and that we know their gameplan.

He is a Tory, for God's sake. Getting well-paid 'consultancies' with big companies does not violate his ideology.
It is quite conceivable that this company wants his advice on contracts relating to 'big-brother'/surveillance issues before giving their advice to their own clients. His sensitivities might be perceived as being of value as a part of their business is giving advice to whoever is willing to pay for it.
If you accept the corporate business apparatus as a good thing....which he probably does, then he might be justified in seeing such consultancies as the perfect opportunity to use his influence within these cultures to rein back the corporate beast from possible excesses.
