This documentary by John Pilger is on tonight, tell your friends, neighbours
and associates.
It should be enlightening for them.

ITV is the last truly independant media left in the UK
Has anyone noticed that during the commercial breaks during ITV shows now most of the adverts seem to be program trailers?
I think the big boys (advertisers) are boycotting ITV and trying to force it to be taken over by either Murdoch or one of the US networks. I cannot see how ITV can be making a profit if they dont have many adverts.
I watched a very interesting ITV show last night about Jesus through muslim eyes. I really was surprised how balanced it was as opposed to the usual Channel 4 and BBC hit pieces.

The program was a great piece of work. Thank god someone had the guts to commission it and the guts to show it.
I only wish it had been shown during peak viewing times.
It was a true eye opener that everybody should make the effort to watch.
Life is so cheap and meaningless to these people that live the American capitalist dream. And all in the name of what.
God im so angry. I really wish i was more articulate and could really write down how i feel sometimes.

Saw this a few weeks ago.
Great the way that Pilger manages to winkle some supreme idiots out of their holes and forces them to defend the indefensible.

Some information here and a trailer. The movie was released in June and shown throughout cinemas in the last couple of months nationwide. Maybe you can still catch it somewhere.

DIdn't watch it, I was working last night.
However while supping a coffee this morning after the Dog walk, read the Telegraph TV critic lambasting it.
He basically admitted that the US was complicit in evils in South America, but then went on to justify it by saying the South Americans were'nt the good guys either. The point being to justify the Evil, by saying there were no good guys! He doesn't like Chavez either (obviously).
You can justify 9/11 with the same reasoning.
I love it when even the TV crtitics are political analysts....
Still it was the Telegraph so what would you expect.

good show
Well worth the effort some of the theatricallity was a bit contrived but pushed the buttons that needed to be pressed. Pilger shines like a beacon he had better watch himself just in case the Met mistake him for a Brazilian electrician.
Oh by the way the programe is to be aired in Scotland @23.00 wednesday by STV I don't know about Grampian I missed the credit who was the guy in the us who was obviously fired from the Nazi party for extremeism.

I just finished watching the whole thing and it is an excellent piece of journalism, it says things as they really have been, many would not even know this.
Now, what concerns me is why now?
The Bigger Picture:
I believe this has been allowed to view now as it opens up the whole can of worms to public scrutiny, and of course instills the premise that
tampering in other nations political systems is totally wrong.
What else will we have leaked to the public, confessions on tape of the assasins of JFK,RFK and MLK saying they worked for the US administration!
May we even get further public disclosures about 9/11 being an inside job
for oil wars(7/7) and insurance fraud?
What would be the purpose for the mass awakening of the public against their own systems ,without mention of the New World Order agenda?
"The people will not have the NWO forced on them, they will demand it"

Yeah! You mean the CIA guy who spoke about "a little harmless bombing" to further US national interests? I'd like his name too.
I must say that this was a totally eye opening and excellent documentary.
Pilger really gets to the point that the USA via the CIA is to blame for virtually every war and every dictator and every country which nolonger has democracy.
what i found particularly damning was the CIA guy declaring that the US has the right to do this.
Another reason why ITV finds itself under attack, have any of you noticed the LACK of adverts during the commercial breaks? ITV cannot survive if the big firms are all boycotting it.
Which is what they appear to be doing last few months.
Most ITV adverts are now merely trailers for their own shows.
Murdoch or one of the big US networks will probably buy it up on the cheap soon. Then suddenly all the absent advertisers will come back on stream.

Murdoch, via BSKYB already owns around 17% of ITV stock which they bought up to prevent Virgin Media attempting a merger/takeover....stelios wrote: Murdoch or one of the big US networks will probably buy it up on the cheap soon. Then suddenly all the absent advertisers will come back on stream.
Virgin Media of course is the subject of a bid from the shady Carlysle Group....
Independent, Unbiased media?........You will be hard pushed to find anything remotley like that soon.

I agree he was excellent (as ever) although would have liked to have seen the zapatistas, the US dirty tricks in Colombia and implications of US 'free-trade' agreements explored.stelios wrote:I must say that this was a totally eye opening and excellent documentary.

I certainly noticed a lack of adverts on this film (only 2 ad breaks in neraly 2 hours). I suspect advertisers may particularly have shyed away from being associated with this programme and would explain why it got scheduled at such a grave yard slot.

I've always admired John Pilger. I respect his mission and consider myself a part of it. I’ve found his films quite upsetting; the odds we were up against seemed overwhelming. But this one is different. Yes it’s harrowing indeed, especially the descriptions of brutality in South America (This film should be compulsory viewing for those considering a career in the military, intelligence or diplomatic services), but it’s also optimistic and inspiring. You get the feeling that the corner has been turned. Things are getting better.
It’s interesting how the coup in Venezuela was triggered by a false flag operation, just like 9/11. I bet the CIA organized that shooting! Thank God for once this deception didn’t succeed! There’s an important lesson here for all of us: don’t believe the hype! Stand up for your rights! Don’t forget that it’s the populus who hold the REAL power. That's probably the most important message from this film: If you can see through a false flag operation then it doesn't work and the govt won't keep doing them!
In the second part of the programme, about Guatemala and Chile, the CIA agent effectively admits they use false flag terrorism! “A few harmless bombings” was the euphemism. The brief interviews with the CIA agents say it all in a few words. What a stark confession! Some were openly unapologetic for it and denied the consequences of their actions as vehemently as any Auschwitz capo. It’s interesting how Margaret Thatcher supported Pinochet when he came to the UK for exile too. The painting by the Juan Delphin is one of the most incredible works of art I’ve ever seen. It’s an amazing blend of indigenous Shamanic art and political street mural. It reminds me of Neil Hague.

Someone mentioned the
Telegraph
- and unsurprisingly a vitriolic review of the said program.
Luckily fellow nineeleven.co.uk readers can can see through the propaganda, deceit and corruption put out by the Telegraph. I pity those who read it, and worship every headline and paragraph as distilled truth & intellect. I suppose the composition, language and prose used, would improve your linguistic skills.
When I hear of the Telegraph, I recall this apt wall graffiti. I'm sure they aren't refering to people who read the Telegraph AND are aware of false flag terror/the truth around 9/11.

More importantly, I'd like to ask the following question to fellow nineeleven.co.uk readers, is your preference it Tea or Coffee?
