Brian Haw ch4 awards

Post by Linda »

Brian Haw was brilliant.

He had a short time to get his point over, STOP KILLING OUR KIDS.

He had T.Shirt with BLIAR on front and back, his hat and all the badges on.

He made some of the MPS cringe with what he had to say. spoke about the Iraq War, and the mass murder of innocent people.

He asked John Snow have i left anything out?

well done Brian

The Channel 4 political Awards will be repeated on Monday/Tuesday at 2.55 am.

Watch Brian Haw and see the cringing MPS faces.

Fair play Sir Brian
Channel 4 award for Brian Haw
By George Jones
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jh ... ols108.xml

Brian Haw, Parliament Square's permanent peace protester, won the Channel 4 News award for Most Inspiring Political Figure last night.

Mr Haw, 56, has camped opposite the main gates of the Commons since June 2001, and uses a megaphone to attack policy on Iraq.

Although the Government has tried to silence him, he has won court battles to allow his vigil to go on. Despite yesterday's cold, he continued shouting as MPs arrived for Prime Minister's Questions.

Mr Haw received 54 per cent of the votes cast by the public in the channel's political awards for 2007.

Gen Sir Richard Dannatt, the head of the British Army, who embarrassed the Government by saying troops should be withdrawn from Iraq, came second with 18 per cent.

Tony Blair was backed by eight per cent and David Cameron by six per cent.

Like I said,a very good limited "it's all about oil" hang out.
I was a FLT driver, safety rep and shop steward (by default)18 years in a canning factory and can lip read, the guy mouthed Well done as Brian approached the podium.

They're back are they,it's still way better than it used to be with whole thread removals on anything remotely controversial.

I particulary enjoyed the grumpy look on that big eared * Charles Clarke when Brian got up to receive his reward. How kind of him to let us know that Brian Haw had wound him up, it made it even more entertaining.

the channel 4 news forum is obsessed with muslims, muslim drives a car with no hub cap, muslim refuses to take of veil to play hockey ect ect ect.

and when i posted about willie rodriguez once it was instantly removed.
i think the people there are a part of the reason we are in this mess today, they just dont see past their own ego's.

Marky,I think those (like a lot (most) other apparently "open" forums have been infiltrated),how else can they instantly provide the established
OCT with subsequent additional "explanitory" information that isn't even
in the official reports.

Shoot, I just spent a good 20 minutes on a reply to the bbc2 docu on 4news forum, and they've just deleted the whole thread.

Someone must have sworn or created an argument that got out of hand,
that's what they do to get the thread pulled eh!
