Thanks for that truth.

I was talking to some students recently and I asked them if they had read the book 1984 by George Orwell.

They all looked at me with that WTF are you talking about glaziness and said no.

Shame.

1984 used to be part of the literary staple diet when I was at school.

I thought it had been dropped from the curriculum, I remember the discussions a few years ago.

The chaps I spoke to didn't have a clue, but that's not exceptional.

I wonder why.
