He wussed out on his main film as we all know. Although it was good to see him get boo'd at some oscar type event i recall. He made some sort of comment against Lord Bush puppet.

At the time that Fahrenheit 9/11 was made, I have it on good authority that he was on many of the main US 9/11 truth email lists. He knew alright. His ommissions and limted hang out are truly inexcusable

His movies would have never got the mainstream exposure they got if he had gone any further than he did - and he knew it, so he had to write/edit/omit accordingly.

Some would say he dropped the ball and no one can deny he had an oportunity to do more, but as suspecta said, his films would not have got the attention if he had gone further. It stings to see him waste the oportunity but I have to remember I was fairly clueless until i watched fahrenheit and i'm guessing im not alone.

Sure F911 was useful and generated interest and I understand the 'constraints' he would have been working under but even so, he could have gone as far as Press for Truth. The film spends very little time actually looking at 9/11 and the questions surrounding it.

If he composed his film in order to get it into cinemas, what has stopped MM from speaking out since then. MM will be winning no journalism awards from me.

I wondered what he meant by that. He COULD have meant that his film would've been branded unAmerican, rather than it being unAmerican of him to mention the stand-down in it.
