Hitchens call-in: "Reinvestigate 9/11"!

Post by Hagbard Celine »

This talk show features Christopher Hitchens, someone I used to admire as an anti-establishement journalist, now unfortunately he has turned into a supporter of the phoney "War on Terror" and he's a well-known debunker of the 9/11 Truth Movement :( .

At 1.02.50 a woman phones in from Las Crucis, New Mexico and hear what she says: [GVideo]http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... r+hitchens#[/GVideo] Hitchens must know what she is hinting at, but doesn't address it. Sadly the caller doesn't state openly the point she is making; maybe she was worried that they'd just cut her off. Hitchens is right in what he says about Henry Kissinger, but then why doesn't hee therefore see that a cover-up is exactly what was being planned? Why does he slag the likes of us off for going where he won't?

its only 5 mins from 1-02.50 and he agrees that anyone who appoints Kissinger to lead an investigation really wants a cover up, but he is then not willing to accept there was one.

Exactly. Hitchens seems unaware of such a contradiction. Although he's English, Hitchens has spent most of his adult life in America and is now a naturalized US citizen; in fact later in the interview the programme does a tour of his Washinton flat. He says that it was the 9/11 attacks that changed his life and made him see things the way he does today. His reaction is typical of the traumatizing that many people suffered as a result of the event. We all know that fear and trauma can make us blind, blind to reason and morality.

Also at 1.46.28 a lady calls in from St Louis and makes some excellent points that directly challenge Hitchens' views on the Middle East and Hitchens doesn't answer her. He sidesteps completely by saying: "She's just making a statement. Now we know what she thinks." There's a pause, and then the interviewer just carries on to the next topic. :(

Hitchins is usefull to the ptb as a "respectable" endorser of the war on terror aka TWOT
Notice he talks about Trotski and Marxism, and did he mention Leo Strauss
at some point? Clearly he understands the various systems of control of the masses, but declines to confer the notion of the now obvious false flag event of 9/11 as an integral part of the steerage of society.

Comes across as another "soft shaker" who wouldn't look you in the eye.

From what I've heard of his... erm... beverage consumption that's probably the DT's

He's a bit of a contrarian actually. He's non-religious, but against abortion, he's opposed to American imperialism but supports the "War on Terror". No matter who you are he'll find some reason to wrangle with you. He's an opponent of Communism but admires Leon Trotsky. etc etc
