Media promotes stories by the unnamed, and unaccountable.
Much as I dislike to promote anything establishment this episode (2 of 6) is especially of interest here.A section by investigative journalist Heather Brooke (?)
Particular mention was made of the circumstances before and after the killing of Jean Charles Demenzes, and the Forest Gate incident.Brooker highlights the strange non-event of Chaudary's much publicised mention of protesting in Wooden Basset.
It's repeated tonight on BBC4 at 10pm.
Some swearing but we can handle that can't we

great show newswipe. brooker has done great works with chris morris too.
for media shills these guys have done a lot to expose media bs and the dumbed down zombies we encounter often.
however i saw an advert over christmas on 4 i think in which brooker seemed to be insulting truthers and the term sheeple. i was high so cant remember much so any enlightenment would be helpful. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/bigscreen/ ... /b00qbyth/
this weeks was pretty funny
antony b liar fesses up at chilcott
wierd bit about nixon and paranoia
and doug stanhope says abortion and not "fu##ing in the front hole" will save us from global warming
i sort of like how half truth msm shows make me feel dirty
Brooker is a lttle addled-brained insecure no-hoper who lays out his insecurities and wishes the whole human condition was annihilated by the end of humanity
He's stated boldly his loathing of us
I find him funny, I understand his angst, but like all these half-witted media-promoted consensual alternative comedians he hasn't got half the point
He's annoying as much as he's right
He said over Icke's 7 hour long Brixton DVD presentation that the guy should get an editor
This is far wide of the mark
Brooker is a cynical self-hating promoter of the liberal consensus
Hate him as much as you applaud him
Yeah it was pretty funny with Stanhope giving away the real agenda of population reduction, up the ar$e is environmentaly freindly bit
Even more hilarious was (I think it was a spoof) Adam Curtis complete turnaround from his Power Of Nightmares days where he exclaimed eveyone is paranoid like Nixon
Excellent stuff again from the Newswipe team.

I'm fairly new to Brooker, and haven't seen or read any anti-truther output by him, I suppose if I had I wouldn't find him quite so hilarious.

In summary: it's bunkum. But then I would say that, wouldn't I? I'm a mainstream media shill. They've got to me already. And now they're coming for YOU.
that just makes me think hes only seen nonsense . and there is a lot of it like lizard men.
thats not to say icke doesnt tell lots of truth but people dismiss everything he says when he gets to the lizard men bit.
show brooker something like evidence of revision and he should change his tune

OK I've seen the Brooker article, and as a confirmed exposer of lies I have to say depending on what Brooker has seen (as jd said) he is sort right. There are various characters in the truth arena that no one would take seriously if they themselves were not already convinced.
And having not lost my sense of humour (yet),I had to laugh (sorry) in at least partial agreement with his analysis.
There are positives though. The old addage "any publicity is good publicity",he meantioned EdgeTV,Ludicrous Diversion (7/7 patsies, no Delores?),Police reluctance to show CCTV,The Power Of Nightmares and David Icke.
With the curious nature of a large section of the population to "rubberneck" a car crash,a percentage of the readers will want to google those terms to see for themselves.

There's a ragtag army of people thoroughly pissed off with the main agenda, but failing to get the proper vision of stuff, following in the tradition of Jon Ronson. To wit, Charlie Brooker, The whole Mock the Week set up, including the naff-eyed very astute comedian Russell Howard, who still thinks it ok to describe Obama as cool, and his detractors as mad, Frankie Boyle, who split from that show after a row with the Beeb over a rather poor joke of his about Her Majesty the Queen's genitalia. In his well-titled celeb bio, he says he loves Icke one minute, whilst deprecating '9/11 conspiracy theorists' and the like the next
Assorted Guardianistas, Marina Hyde, fashion columnist Hadley Freeman, film critic Mark Kermode - they've all taken cheap shots at 'conspiracy theorists' and 'truthers'
Bill Bailey does a quite funny 'conspiracy theory' shot
All these media folks are exasperated with the fakeness and dissemblance of the so-called reality of the controlled media. They can be amusing about it.
But they end up backing it up, afraid to take that extra step, fearful perhaps for their future employment
Oh well, at least we've got alleged abuser Charlie Sheen...
I really don't know what some truthers expect sometimes, the full on reality exposed by the media,or a some semblance of linkage to the whole bigger picture?
If you're waiting for that it wont happen, ever, though I did dream it once but woke up to BBC radio 4 BS.Let's face it, the best we can expect is some truths are exposed by the corporate and truth media, and let others make their own mind up.
Those still using the terms "sheeple" and "sheep" are not helping either!
