Prince Philip Movement

Main article: Prince Philip Movement

It has been reported by the BBC that inhabitants of some small villages in Vanuatu, an island nation located in the South Pacific Ocean, worship Prince Philip as a god. Islanders have been interviewed and pictured with portraits, sent with Prince Philip's permission.[13]

Well, this appears to be one way to get Field Marshall Philip to reply to correspondance and to grant an audience. Could the 9/11 Truth movement learn from the Yaohnanen?

Is Prince Philip a god?
High in a mist-shrouded mountain village, an ancient tribe patiently awaits the return of its divine leader.

He is no mere mortal like themselves, dressed as they are in and straw sheaths to protect their modesty — rather, they believe he is the human face of an ancestral spirit who left their island many moons ago to look for a bride..........

Or should the Yaohnanon learn from the Native South Americans about the god-like qualities of the white man??

The death of Diana has been the subject of widespread conspiracy theories, supported by Mohamed Fayed, whose son died in the accident. Her former father in law, Prince Philip, seems to be at the heart of most of them but her ex-husband has also been named, and was questioned by the Metropolitan Police in 2005. Some other theories have included claims that MI6 or the CIA were involved.

Fears are growing for the health of Prince Philip according to the Daily Mail.
Mind you he could be off somewhere plotting something. Just impossible to tell.

Fears grow for Prince Philip's health after he misses two public events
Prince Philip has not been seen in public for a week
Fears are growing for the health of Prince Philip after he missed both going to church and the last shooting party of winter at Sandringham.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman confirmed yesterday that the 87-year-old prince was remaining indoors after pulling a muscle in his back while carriage driving several days ago.

His injury first emerged last Tuesday after he missed his first engagement of the year, a visit with the Queen to Flitcham primary school in Norfolk.
He had clearly not recovered by this morning, as there was no sign of him when the Queen was greeted by 60 well-wishers as she arrived at St Peter and St Paul church in West Newton, near to Sandringham, the Norfolk estate which the Royals visit every New Year.
The Prince had also missed the pheasant shoot at Sandringham on Saturday, the last of the winter season - a sporting occasion he would have been keen to attend.
He was last seen in public at church in Sandringham a week ago.
As he ages, there have been increasing concerns for Prince Philip's health. In October 2007 he was reported to have been suffering from a heart condition for 15 years.
Last April he spent three days in hospital receiving treatment for a chest infection, and in August he took the unusual step of denying suggestions he had prostate cancer.
But it is notable that his latest injury is apparently linked to his love of maintaining an active, sporting life.
And six years ago, amid claims he had been hurt in a fall, the famously outspoken prince rubbished any suggestion he was frail by demanding of a journalist: 'Do I look bloody ill?'
Last night a Buckingham Palace spokesman said: 'The prince pulled out of the engagement at the school on Tuesday because he had pulled a muscle in his back while carriage riding.
'He believed he would not been able to stand for a long period of time. He is still taking it easy for a bit and giving it a chance to get mended.'

I hope the Duke recovers but this is almost certainly clinically insane denial in the extreme. They know it would be the biggest story in the world if it was allowed to be told. Lies and spin appear to be the only thing the Royal press office know. Which is why it is so despised amongst journalists who are not entirely as stupid as the far right Royal spindoktors think..

Queen and Duke cancel state visit
The Queen has cancelled a state visit because of "other commitments", not her age or the Duke of Edinburgh's health, Buckingham Palace has said.
The location of the visit has not been disclosed, but officials insist that Prince Philip's recent back injury is not the reason.
The 87-year-old prince has had to cancel three engagements this year.....

lies lies and more lies.......

.....Our correspondent adds that the Queen views state visits as one of her most important duties - as it gives her a chance to fly the flag and promote UK businesses.

Yeah.... like every bit as well as Diana used to do, which is why she had to be 'erased' from history.

No well wishes.
Perhaps we should be as happy to see the back of him as he would be of us.
He might achieve his aim of returning as a virulent virus able to wipe out 90% of the world population.
Pulled back muscle? Hope it's nothing trivial.

Am I alone in thinking that there was nothing remarkable about her life or death. She was a privileged, over-sexed hurray Henryetta who joined the Firm with her eyes wide open. The usual routine a lot of smiling and waving in public, the odd bit of charity work between cruises and skiing breaks.

Had she had a heart attack while walking in the Alps I might have been a bit concerned. But her accident was literally too hit and miss, ie her death was by no means guaranteed (if she wore her safety belt), for a real professional assasination. And it is not inconceivable that a speeding driver driving in artificial lighting after consuming a few bevies might have a crash.

Should we look for suspicious circumstances then a motive or a motive first. For what reason would the Firm issue a 'turbulent priest' statement rather than letting her go on her own sweet way? If it was a possible embarrassment regarding the parentage of Prince Harry, as the most damage would be to herself and her son she would have kept silent. If regarding sexual indiscretions of other members of the Firm, what's new, certainly nothing the Royals haven't been doing, and getting away with for centuries. What else is there?

For me the most worrying aspect of the whole affair was showing the Media what power it possessed. To get the vast majority to go into a sudo mourning hysteria over someone who has as much in common with them as any soap opera character was not only bizarre but frightening. When the Media turned it's guns on the Royals for not blubbering in pubic (unlike Blair who was quick to show that he really truly cared - about something) they must have realized that if they didn't put the brakes on we could be living in a republic. Fortunately for them the peerage, or should I say privilege, system still holds sway, for the time being anyway.

Why don't you watch the interview above?

Then this Discovery Channel documentary which is one of he best. They actually interviewed the people who were truly independent.
Please don't go down the road of 'we'll never know' otherwise we'll never stop the rot in the establishment.

Well lets see if I can get any on my side.

Thanks for the links, I did listen to the above, princess of love, want to share problems with common people. Please no more. I do not however dismiss the bit about trying to discredit her or give her a low-profile as this is standard way the Firm deals with dissident royals. Ie Edward and Simpson, Princess Margaret for a time. The interviewer ask question that I posed above, 'Why do you think your a threat to the royal family'. I still wait for logical response.

I also saw your link of 'truly independent' people giving their views on her death. Fayed states the Firm could not permit Diana to marry marry his son, why the hell not, this would only give other person that the Establishment could use to discredit Diana's profile.
I must admit some things were new to me. I had not seen the reconstruction of crash. The trouble is I can find no witness statement to support this reconstruction. There are a number of statements of vehicles going towards, going into, and coming out of the tunnel although not all are consistent.

http://searchwarp.com/swa263053.htm

The only witness (that has come forward) to see the actual crash was Francois Levistre (unless of course he and his wife are actually uncover agents.) I personally am prepare to accept his version of events. The question remains, 'who is the motorcyclist'?, it could be MI6, maybe CIA, perhaps Mosat or the jolly green giant. The description of the passenger dismounting and taking photos of the scene (with Flash rather than a strobe light) tends me to believe he just might be one of the paparazzi. And the white car, if there was a white car, the witness didn't see it so it would of been behind Dianas. If it was behind the only way it could have contributed to the accident is by shunting into the front car. Ok possible but I would submit unlikely as there would be a high risk of the car being involved in the accident.

Fayed's lawyer states that he believes two men caught on camera were secret agents, er, why? Richard Tomlinson states that Henri Paul was an MI6 agent because he saw the name if a file in 91. Some memory, remembering a name in a file six years later. And further states that he is still in it. How does he know he was sacked in from MI6 in 95, r so they tell us. And if he was, since when have MI6 used their own personnel in suicide missions. [I would would expect in his position he would have had security clearance and possible training but, James Bond?]

But what about the autopsy and the blood samples? Like many things I must defer to professional and base my judgement on their interpretations. But regardless of the samples, it is known that he had been drinking and that he was a Prozac user, (Prozac user as are half of France according to Fayed's lawyer, it must be all of the UK then.)

http://www.public-interest.co.uk/diana/dianasynop.htm

On balance I would say say there is something amiss in this case, should this contamination be by accident of design? Whatever sample you believe to be true, does it give strength one way or the other to the argument that MI6 or whatever was involved in the accident. I think not. If it was by design I think it was more likely done as an afterthought. Reason, well those who have something to hide may think the more conspiracy theories we can put out as diversions from the ones that really count the better.

Look who came to tea: Fred the Shred slips back into UK for meeting with Charles

Au Revoir: Sir Fred Goodwin and wife Lady Joyce leave Heathrow for France

By Tom Kelly and Rebecca English
Last updated at 11:04 PM on 21st July 2009

Prince Charles risked public anger yesterday by entertaining disgraced banker Sir Fred Goodwin at Clarence House.

The invitation was to mark the end of the former Royal Bank of Scotland chief's six-year tenure as chairman of Charles's charity, the Prince's Trust.

Afterwards the heir to the throne thanked Sir Fred, who led RBS into the worst financial crisis of its history, for all his 'hard work and support' for the youth charity.

Sir Fred became a national pariah after it emerged he was allowed to retire at 50 with a £703,000-a-year pension, despite RBS needing a £ 20 billion taxpayers' bailout after his time in charge.

Yesterday's event was listed as a private meeting and not put on the Prince of Wales's official diary, which is made public in advance.

Sir Fred was chauffeur-driven in and out of Clarence House, the Prince's London residence, where he enjoyed tea, coffee, organic apple juice and pastries all served by liveried staff during the two hour meeting.

The ex-banker, who was dubbed Fred the Shred for his cost-cutting and job purges, led RBS on a dash for growth that culminated in the disastrous acquisition of the Dutch bank ABN Amro.

Since the £20billion Treasury bailout, the Edinburgh bank has had further taxpayer backing, including guarantees over a staggering £325billion in toxic assets. It is now 70 per cent state-owned and has axed 15,000 jobs.
The Prince of Wales

Prince Charles invited Sir Fred to Clarence House to mark the end of his six year tenure as the chairman of the Prince's Trust

Sir Fred announced his resignation as RBS chief executive in October last year, a month before the bank revealed record losses.

He quickly agreed a controversial pension deal which effectively doubled his pot and let him start collecting despite his young age.

The pension was later reduced to £550,000 a year after the Scot took a tax-free lump sum of £2.7million, and he recently ' volunteered' a further cut of £208,000 a year.

His family home in Edinburgh was attacked following the public outcry over his pension, and he is believed to have spent most of his time since in a luxury hideaway on the French Riviera. He flew back to France from Heathrow yesterday with his wife, Lady Joyce.

A Clarence House spokesman said: 'Sir Fred Goodwin took the post of chairman of the Prince's Trust in 2003 on an initial single three-year term.

'He agreed to take on a second term following that which is due to come to an end this summer.

'During his time as chairman he has helped to improve the lives of more than 200,000 young people and the Prince of Wales is very grateful for all his hard work and support.'

A spokesman for the TaxPayers' Alliance said of the visit: 'A lot of right-minded people would see this as completely inappropriate.

'A huge amount of taxpayers' money had to go into cleaning up the mess left by Sir Fred, and even more has been exposed to a high level of risk. This shows a staggering lack of judgment on the part of Clarence House.'

The Prince has appointed Charles Dunstone, chief executive of The Carphone Warehouse, as the new chairman of The Prince's Trust.

More of the same, rolling in almost daily now, from the Heir to the Saxe Coburg Gothic fortune.

Quote:
And it could have predicted that once Charles, pictured, got going on the need to preserve the planet, there would be quite a lot of critics asking whether it was appropriate for a very rich man with a very extravagant lifestyle to preach to viewers on the need to safeguard all our vital natural resources by cutting back.
One can assume that all the high-flown nonsense on this theme was the work of one of the many tame environmentalists who sit at the court of the prince. But there were signs that Charles contributed input of his own, notably in the form of a tribute to his ancestor Henry VIII, widely and correctly regarded by historians as a murderous tyrant.

But just as Formula One chief Bernie Ecclestone was keen in a recent interview to stress the many positive achievements of Adolf Hitler, Charles went out of his way to praise the obese and power-mad Henry.

Not only did Henry, according to Charles, have a keen interest in green issues, but he also shared with the prince "an interest in architecture which may well be hereditary". (Ecclestone's hero the Führer, it is perhaps worth noting, also had a passion for architecture.)
Charles is notoriously ignorant about historical and cultural matters but somebody might have told him that as far as architecture is concerned, Henry VIII is nowadays best remembered as the man responsible for the destruction of some of the most beautiful buildings in Britain, the countless abbeys and priories which were demolished and ransacked during his reign and which now remain only as crumbling ruins.

Just before Johann Hari was sacked from the Independent he penned this article

Johann Hari: Spare us the fawning over Prince Philip
When Elizabeth became the Queen, he was forced to quit his job in the Navy, and became depressed for months
Johann Hari - Friday 10 June 2011
http://www.independent.co.uk/opinion/commentators/johann-hari/johann-h ari-spare-us-the-fawning-over-prince-philip-2295288.html

Is there a more consistently hilarious sight in Britain than the endless parade of slavering monarchists trying to convince us the Windsor family is the embodiment of virtue and hard work? Today is the 90th birthday of Philip Mountbatten. Ordinarily, I would wish him a happy day, as I would any other 90-year-old, and then let the event pass in silence – if only the monarchists were not so relentlessly using the event as yet another propaganda tool for their snobbery-soaked institution. But we can't let yet another bout of their myth-making pass without answer.

Today, you are being encouraged to celebrate a man who merrily visited a genocidal dictator and used the occasion to sneer at British democracy. A man whose political interventions even prompted complaints from the far-right Enoch Powell. A man who, at the height of mass unemployment, mocked the unemployed, while complaining his own family of multi-millionaires was financially deprived. A man who has shot countless examples of endangered species – and then sought praise for his protection of wildlife.

But let's start with the myth. Monarchists feel the need to claim that the Windsors are somehow more worthy than the rest of us, but this is difficult, since they consist merely of whoever randomly emerges from a royal womb, and whoever that package of DNA and unearned privilege then chooses to marry. Windsors are thrown up by chance, and must have imaginary merits thrust upon them. You can see how hard this is by reading the moist panegyric written by the conservative commentator Peter Oborne last week. He said Philip is "colossally important" because... um... Well, he said, he represents continuity. That's true. If you gave my father a job for life from which he couldn't be fired and a slew of golden palaces to live in, he'd represent continuity too. So would yours. So would literally anyone in Britain.

The pickings then got even slimmer. Oborne claimed Philip should be lauded because he has "never once caused... embarrassment". And "there has never been the slightest hint of scandal". No, really. He wrote that. So let's look at the things Oborne and the monarchists believe are not embarrassing or scandalous in any way.

Alfredo Stroessner was one of the most vicious dictators of the 20th-century. He seized power in Paraguay in a coup d'état, and set about kidnapping and torturing anybody who objected, ending up facing charges of genocide from the UN. At the height of the terror, Philip visited the country – paid for by your taxes – and told the beaming tyrant: "It's a pleasant change to be in a country that isn't ruled by its people." The torture chambers were crammed and screaming less than a mile away. This wasn't seen as a joke by Stroessner. No wonder that – as Francis Wheen's fascinating history Strange Days Indeed shows – when far right-wingers and establishment grandees responded to instability in Britain in the 1970s by mooting a military coup, they intended Philip to be the figurehead of their junta. (Nothing is known of his feelings about this.)

Philip has his own taste for killing, although on a thankfully smaller scale. Throughout his life he has taken great pleasure in slaughtering endangered species with highly sophisticated nervous systems and a strong capacity to feel pain, just for fun. For example, on one shooting trip alone in the late 1960s, he personally killed a tiger, a crocodile and a rhinoceros. Before anybody writes in to say that standards were different then, look up the press clippings: people were disgusted at the time. Yet in their list of reasons to admire Philip, monarchists always list his "commitment to protecting wildlife" as symbolic head of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). It's enough to make a rhinocerous laugh – if only Philip hadn't shot it first.

Philip doesn't have much pity for the sentient beings he shoots, but he does have quite a lot for himself. In an interview in 1970, he complained that the Windsors were suffering unacceptable financial pressures, and warned of catastrophes to come. He might, he warned with a pained expression, have to give up polo. And – the agony only grows – "We may need to move into smaller premises, who knows?" He didn't say which of the four massive palaces he occupies might have had to be downsized, or whether he might have had to abandon the fully stocked barbers' shop reserved entirely for his personal use.

However Philip has also denied that anybody in Britain is poor. When unemployment surged in the early 1980s to levels not seen since the 1930s, he jeered: "Everyone was saying we must have more leisure. Now they are complaining they are unemployed."

To be fair, in case anybody thinks this is snobbery, Philip extends this callousness to his own children. When Philip and Elizabeth's youngest son was five years old, they abandoned him to nannies so they could tour Australia for six months, and when they returned, the tiny child was forced to wait in line to shake his parents' hand.

But, wait. There is a sympathetic explanation for some of Philip's horrible behaviour. There are many good reasons to oppose the idea of monarchy in the 21st-century, and one is that, by stripping them of any ability to make their own choices, it curdles the family at its core.

In 1993, Philip said: "It wasn't my ambition to be President of the Mint Advisory Committee. I didn't want to be President of the WWF. I'd much rather have stayed in the Navy, frankly." When Elizabeth became the Queen, he had to quit his job, and became depressed for months. The "gaffes" that keep being wheeled out suggest a man angry at the position he is trapped in, and at all of us for putting him there. In the Republic of Britain, he could have achieved his real ambition of being an admiral and led a much happier life.

That brings us to the one real reason why Philip deserves our respect and gratitude. Before the Second World War, his sisters all married supporters of the Nazi tyranny, including an SS colonel – but there's no doubt which side Philip was on. He repeatedly risked his life in the Royal Navy fighting for the Allies, and took a heroic part in the Allied invasion of Sicily. People who glibly insult him today by calling him a "Nazi" are ignorant – he came close to dying to stop the Nazis. It's much more than they, or I, have ever done.

That should point us, though, to a wider and deeper form of gratitude. All across Britain, there are 90-year-old men who engaged in that incredible act of collective heroism. One was my former neighbour, Elbert Hutton, who died last month. He fought in France and Italy, then returned and worked hard his whole life. But nobody ever gave him a palace to live in, and nobody ever wrote fawning articles about him in the Daily Telegraph. He got a small council house and no garlands. Yet Elbert was much more deserving than Philip. He never fawned over any dictators, or shot any endangered species, or complained about his lot, even though he had unimaginably less. I'd like to see a Britain where we assess Elbert and Philip on their merits – and don't expect the better man to bow before the fool.

I didn't realise that, like Vlad The Impaler and Count Dracula, Zionism was also Romanian.

"your original Zionist congress was back in your ancient home of Romania, so can you go back home please, and stop your faithless, God-less Zionist kill", - is that anywhere neat transylvania the home of Count Dracula?

Meet the sister and childhood rival that Camilla simply can't do without... even if it does involve a £103,000 fee
By GEOFFREY LEVY and RICHARD KAY
Last updated at 9:25 PM on 05th July 2008

Looks aside, they could scarcely be less alike. So why DOES the Duchess pay her oh-so discreet childhood rival £103,000 a year?

She was younger, prettier and brainier, as well as being fundamentally more serene and 'nicer' than her brasher sister.

Not a girl, it was said, 'to throw her knickers on the table'. But life isn't always fair. So it was no surprise this week that in London's smarter salons the name of Annabel Elliot was being mentioned in tones that were a mixture of sympathy and envy.

The Duchy of Cornwall, which provides Prince Charles with a multi-millionaire's lifestyle, had just published its latest accounts and among them - by no means for the first time - was Annabel Elliot's name.

It cropped up in relation to payment of £103,000 for 'consultancy fees' and providing furniture and furnishings for work carried out on several of the Duchy's holiday cottages, as well as on the Prince's new hideaway in Wales.
Annabel (left) is so close to her sister Camilla that she even accompanied her on her royal honeymoon
Annabel is an accomplished interior designer and antiques dealer. Her elder sister, Camilla, has, of course, risen to become HRH the Duchess of Cornwall.

'A few crumbs from her big sister's table,' is how one long-time family friend spikily describes the consultancy work.

More than crumbs. In recent years, accompanied by cries of cronyism and nepotism, Annabel has designed the interiors of 12 of the Duchy of Cornwall's holiday cottages dotted around the country from Hereford to the Isles of Scilly and which are available to rent.

It is a substantial part of the recent income of Annabel Elliot Ltd, run from a small industrial unit near Salisbury, Wiltshire, rented from the council for some £300 a month.

But even if it were true that Camilla is helping her sister (and Annabel, 18 months younger, is certainly talented enough to have obtained the commissions on merit alone), it would barely repay her for shouldering so much of the drama of Camilla's extraordinary life.

'She was sucked into it, and rather resented it as she had her own life to lead,' says a friend.

Both sisters married around the same time - Annabel, when 23, in 1972 to her first real boyfriend, Simon Elliot, whose late father Sir William was an Air Chief Marshal of the RAF; Camilla at 25 in 1973, to dashing Army officer Andrew Parker Bowles.

Through the subsequent, seemingly endless years when Camilla and Charles were secret lovers, it was the country home of Annabel and Simon in the Dorset village of Stourpaine that was the Prince and Mrs Parker Bowles's favourite meeting place for discreet romantic weekends.

In December 1992, Annabel was at the wheel of the car that whisked Camilla away and out of public view when John Major announced in the Commons the separation of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

It was at Annabel's 40th birthday party (held at the home of her friend Lady Annabel Goldsmith, widow of tycoon Sir James) that Princess Diana confronted Camilla about her relationship with Charles.

And it was at Annabel's 50th birthday party at the Ritz Hotel when her sister stole the limelight by 'coming out' as Charles's mistress, the couple using the occasion to pose for their first public pictures together on the hotel steps.

So devoted: Camilla Parker-Bowles (right) and her sister Annabel Elliot (left) at the wedding of Alice Elliot, Camilla Parker Bowles niece, in Stourpaine, Dorset
Prince Charles has many faults but he is also a man of consummate gratitude towards those who do him kindnesses. In the circumstances, it is surely no surprise that Annabel's husband, Simon, a so-called 'wheeler-dealer' whose widespread business and property interests stretch to the Middle East, is also said to benefit from the Prince's patronage.

Charles is understood to have attended a number of Middle Eastern diplomatic functions with the man who was to become his future brother-in-law. He is said, in particular, to have attended several Lebanese functions in London so as to 'bestow a status on Simon'.

Mr Elliot was a friend of the assassinated Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri and is understood to have engineered a meeting between him and the Prince at Highgrove.

Meanwhile, the sisters' lives are so entwined that the Elliots accompanied Charles and Camilla on honeymoon to Birkhall in Scotland, where staff laid the wedding-night table for four.

And they were also in Antigua with Camilla in March, keeping her spirits up, before the Duchess had to join Charles on that ill-fated official cruise in the Caribbean islands (the £210,000 luxury charted yacht paid for by the taxpayer) when Camilla turned out to be a sickly sailor.

No one had warned the Duchess just how suffocating life at sea in the confined space of a private yacht would be with the curmudgeonly and pernickety Prince of Wales.

Annabel, who is noted as much for her bound by Geoffrey Levy and Richard Kay less energy as Camilla is for her laziness, believes it is difficult for her sister being a royal duchess.

'She feels Camilla is trapped,' says one of their circle. 'She certainly wouldn't want to change places with her.'

Ironically, that is precisely what some observers felt she did want to do when they were young.

'Annabel was the prettier one but Camilla was the sexier of the two, and men found her attractive,' recalls one former debs' delight.

While Camilla was having fun rushing from one party to another, Annabel, who has a much more serious turn of mind, had already opted for a quieter life, though when she heard of her big sister's escapades she 'resented the difference in their lifestyles - wouldn't any sister?'

Even now, some 40 years later, those painful memories of being second best are still with her. Earlier this year, she was reminiscing about their debutante days and recalling that Camilla, who was a deb a year ahead of her, 'was a great success, but I certainly wasn't. I probably wasn't quite as confident as her'.
According to insiders, Annabel might be prettier but it was Camilla who was the sexier of the sisters

Camilla, although a trifle plumper than her younger sister, was more athletic and liked riding. Annabel learned to ride but never shared her sister's enthusiasm for the hunt.

'Annabel was more intelligent than Camilla - she has a good brain and an inquiring mind,' says a school contemporary.

'And she always had such good taste that she would have made a perfect duchess, which you can't seriously say about Camilla.'

While Camilla plunged into the whirl of the Sixties London social scene, Annabel went to Italy to study art and fell in love - not with a man, but with Florence.

Unlike the brash Camilla, who loved entertaining attentive young men with the latest risque joke, and was notoriously frank about her relationships, Annabel was quieter and more discreet.

She was also fascinated by the black sheep of their family, Great Aunt Violet Trefusis - who, as a teenager, was involved in a lesbian affair with the writer Vita Sackville-West, which scandalised society - and against parental advice, visited her in Florence.

Annabel was noted for having boys among her friends but not 'boyfriends', until she met Simon Elliot at a wedding and began to go out with him - her first boyfriend and still, after 36 years and three children, her husband.

Clearly, if either of the sisters was going to find her way into the young and thrusting Prince of Wales's bed, it was going to be Camilla.

All these years later, friends say that Annabel, now 58, can still hardly believe that the covert affair she and husband Simon protected for so long could have culminated in her sister marrying the Prince of Wales and that, at some time in the future, she could find herself the Queen's sister.

The sibling rivalry that existed between them as children and then as debutantes, is still there.

But Camilla's elevation to HRH has not created any envy in her sister, any more than it has brought much pleasure to Camilla herself.

'I'm not impressed by what's happened to my sister,' Annabel announced firmly, 'and I'm certainly not going to treat her any differently.'

None of her friends were too surprised to hear it, because Annabel and Simon Elliot were already conducting themselves in a rather grandiose manner, largely because of their long-time closeness to the late Queen Mother.

'What people don't know is that they were guests of Queen Elizabeth up in Scotland when Camilla was still not welcome because of her affair with Charles,' says an old friend of the Elliots.

Indeed, some people accused the Elliots then of trading on their royal connections, just as they accuse them of doing it now.

But Annabel and her sister have always been close, and she was affected more than anyone by Camilla's recent lament to a friend about Charles: 'We don't seem to have much fun any more.'

Camilla paid her sister a £103,000 fee in 'consultancy fees'
The cry came at about the time Charles relapsed into an air of gloom, largely because of the milestone, passed in January, of becoming the country's longest waiting heir to the throne - the record was 59 years and 74 days held by his great-great grandfather Edward VII.

'In the old days, when he felt glum he could run to Camilla. Now she's his wife, her pacifying qualities don't seem to quite work in the way they did,' says a courtier.

It has meant an increasingly intimate and important role for Annabel, as well as for Simon, in the lives of the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall.

They are frequent guests at Clarence House, Highgrove and Birkhall, and it is easy to see why.

More than ever now, Annabel and her husband represent the good old days when the emotional magic of Camilla and Charles was at its height, the days that produced the Camillagate tape with the lovers' tantalising each other with crude confessions of desire.

'The humour still flows when Camilla and her sister are together because they spark off each other,' observes one of their oldest friends, 'and these days Camilla seems to need more of her sister's company than ever.'

She sent for Annabel to be with her on the night before she made her vows at Windsor register office on April 9, 2005.

The two sisters stayed at Windsor Castle and Annabel is said to have been 'hilariously funny', which was important because Camilla was so nervous.

Annabel, meanwhile, is spreading her professional wings and has been commissioned to create the interior of her first hotel, the imposing Bovey Castle in Devon that used to be owned by Peter de Savary and is now being developed by property tycoon Jamie Ritblat.

Her sister the Duchess, though, remains her unfinished work.

'The Elliots are Camilla's safety valve,' says a friend. 'I don't know what she'd do without them.'

As the smoke clears after Saudi Arabia's latest mass execution by firing squad... Charles and Camilla fly in
The Prince isn't expected to raise the issue of human rights with his hosts. Perhaps he should, wonders Jerome Taylor
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/as-the-smoke-clear s-after-saudi-arabias-latest-mass-execution-by-firing-squad-charles-an d-camilla-fly-in-8533382.html
http://www.911forum.org.uk/board/viewtopic.php?p=163991#163991
Jerome Taylor Wednesday 13 March 2013
...They were led out at dawn today, one by one, to the public killing grounds. The Seven Saudi Arabian men had been sentenced to death following what human rights groups and the UN said were deeply flawed trials conducted under Sharia law. Some of them were juveniles when they were charged with being part of a gang of thieves in the Saudi town of Abha. But that didn’t save them from the firing squad.
A few hours later, just over 1,000 miles to the north, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall were visiting the victims of another brutal Middle Eastern dictatorship. At a refugee camp in northern Jordan they met some of the one million people who have had to flee the death and destruction now enveloping Bashar al-Assad’s Syria. Charles described the scene he saw as an “unbelievable and heartbreaking situation” while Camilla hailed the “strength of spirit” shown by the women she encountered...
...Although the Prince is officially apolitical, human rights advocates have expressed dismay that while he is happy to talk about Britain’s military and commercial links to Saudi Arabia, he avoids topics such as the highest execution rates per capita in the world or something as fundamental as a woman’s right to drive.
“Prince Charles has always had the tip of his well-polished brogues in the political world and he should use his influence to tell the royal House of Saud a few home truths about the country’s dreadful human rights record,” said Kate Allen, Amnesty International’s UK Director. “Surely, arriving in the wake of controversial executions and the jailing of human rights activists Charles will want to at least broach these matters?”...

How Royals' lawyer used Leveson, Lord McAlpine and veiled threats to keep Rolf Harris arrest secret...and even tried to forbid us from publishing their warning
Lawyers use furore over innocent peer to to try and gag us
Emails to us from lawyers warned of consequences if we published
Mr Harris, 83, was arrested last month as part of Operation Yewtree
By Robert Verkaik
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2312312/How-Royals-lawyer-used -Leveson-Lord-McAlpine-veiled-threats-Rolf-Harris-arrest-secret.html
PUBLISHED: 22:47, 20 April 2013 | UPDATED: 22:54, 20 April 2013
Lawyers for Rolf Harris have used intimidating and potentially misleading tactics to stop The Mail on Sunday from naming the Australian entertainer in the investigation in the wake of the Jimmy Savile abuse claims.
In a series of threatening emails sent to this paper, London law firm Harbottle & Lewis warned of the ‘highly damaging personal consequences’ in identifying their client.
They also brandished Lord Justice Leveson’s name to declare there was no public interest in reporting the arrest. It meant that for more than four months The Mail on Sunday decided not to publish Mr Harris’s name in connection with the Savile investigation.
As recently as March 30, Har¬bottle’s senior media lawyer,
Gerrard Tyrrell, who has acted for Prince William, Prince Harry and the Middletons, warned: ‘If you proceed then both you and the Editor of your newspaper are on notice of the consequences.’
In January, Harbottle’s was asked to confirm if Mr Harris had been interviewed by police. The firm responded by citing cases of Tory peer Lord McAlpine and X Factor judge Louis Walsh, who had been falsely linked to sex offences.
In fact, these cases were crucially different from Mr Harris’s because it was true that Mr Harris had been interviewed by the police. And unlike Mr Harris, neither man had been interviewed or arrested.
Last night Mr Walsh’s lawyer Paul Tweed said it was wrong to compare his client’s case to that of Mr Harris. He said: ‘The Louis Walsh case I would distinguish because by the time the Sun published the story my client had not been contacted by the police . . . But in Rolf Harris’s case, as I understand it, he has been interviewed by the police. In my view there is a very important distinction there. Once you reach the point of interview and arrest there has to be a strong public interest argument in publication. The fact that The Mail on Sunday held back for four months is a credit to you.’
Mr Tyrrell also tried to keep the case secret by warning us that it would be wrong to publish any of his threatening letters which he said were ‘strictly private and confidential’. On Friday, despite the desperate efforts by Mr Harris’s lawyers to suppress news of his arrest,
Mr Harris was finally revealed in newspapers as the ‘mystery’ celebrity detained by detectives investigating the Jimmy Savile sex scandal.
Without official and cast-iron confirmation from Mr Harris or the police this newspaper decided not to reveal his name. The paper was also influenced by reports that Mr Harris had been admitted to The Priory clinic and that publication could endanger his health. Last night senior lawyers said that media reports were being suppressed in the wake of Lord Justice Leveson’s report into media ethics.

Largest Landowner
“Queen Elizabeth II the largest landowner on Earth.”
http://www.whoownstheworld.com/about-the-book/largest-landowner/

Queen Elizabeth II, head of state of the United Kingdom and of 31 other states and territories, is the legal owner of about 6,600 million acres of land, one sixth of the earth’s non ocean surface.

She is the only person on earth who owns whole countries, and who owns countries that are not her own domestic territory. This land ownership is separate from her role as head of state and is different from other monarchies where no such claim is made – Norway, Belgium, Denmark etc.

The value of her land holding. £17,600,000,000,000 (approx).

This makes her the richest individual on earth. However, there is no way easily to value her real estate. There is no current market in the land of entire countries. At a rough estimate of $5,000 an acre, and based on the sale of Alaska to the USA by the Tsar, and of Louisiana to the USA by France, the Queen’s land holding is worth a notional $33,000,000,000,000 (Thirty three trillion dollars or about £17,600,000,000,000). Her holding is based on the laws of the countries she owns and her land title is valid in all the countries she owns. Her main holdings are Canada, the 2nd largest country on earth, with 2,467 million acres, Australia, the 7th largest country on earth with 1,900 million acres, the Papua New Guinea with114 million acres, New Zealand with 66 million acres and the UK with 60 million acres.

She is the world’s largest landowner by a significant margin. The next largest landowner is the Russian state, with an overall ownership of 4,219 million acres, and a direct ownership comparable with the Queen’s land holding of 2,447 million acres. The 3rd largest landowner is the Chinese state, which claims all of Chinese land, about 2,365 million acres. The 4th largest landowner on earth is the Federal Government of the United States, which owns about one third of the land of the USA, 760 million acres. The fifth largest landowner on earth is the King of Saudi Arabia with 553 million acres
Largest five personal landowners on EarhQueen Elizabeth II 6,600 million acres
King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia 553 million acres
King Bhumibol of Thailand 126 million acres
King Mohammed IV of Morocco 113 million acres

CHARLES' LINKS TO SAVILE
ABOVE: Links between Jimmy Savile and Prince Charles were covered up
Sometimes people haven’t behaved properly and shouldn’t have any expectation of having their identity protected.
Maurice Frankel, director of the Campaign For Freedom Of Information
12th May 2013
By Jonthan Corke, Deborah Sherwood, Rick Lyons
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/view/314185/CHARLES-LINKS-TO-SAVILE/

A TOP-level cover-up was ordered to hide close links between Prince Charles and paedo Jimmy Savile, we can reveal today.
The full truth has been uncovered following a seven-month battle by the Daily Star Sunday.
A raft of documents was released last year showing former Prime Minister Maggie Thatcher’s dealings with Savile.
But Whitehall mandarins ordered key paragraphs to be blanked out to save people’s blushes.
We challenged that ruling under Freedom Of Information laws and were initially turned down.
It was only after a further appeal, when we said it was in the public interest to expose what Thatcher and her officials were discussing, that the information was finally released last week.
It shows Savile claimed Prince Charles had agreed to be a patron of one of his charities – and, crucially, last year someone in power had decided we shouldn’t know that fact, despite it being common knowledge that the Prince and weirdo Savile were pals.
Officials at the National Archive, which houses the documents, last night blamed the Cabinet Office, under the control of Cabinet Secretary Sir Jeremy Heywood, for redacting the documents.
The cover-up concerned Savile asking Prince Charles to be patron of his Stoke Mandeville appeal.
The letter to Thatcher from one of her aides reads: “Even more encouraging, though again confidential at this stage, Jimmy Savile tells me that the Prince of Wales has agreed to be Patron of the Appeal.”
The nugget was contained in a one page letter headed PRIME MINISTER dated March 6, 1980, and initialled G.V.
The letter was part of a Savile file released under the 30-year rule by the National Archives at Kew, south-west London, last year.
It included pervert Savile declaring his love for the former PM, showing how well connected he was to establishment figures.
A National Archives official explained the Charles paragraph was excluded under sections 40 and 41.
Section 40 refers to information that it would breach the Data Protection Act to reveal that that person would have a “legitimate expectation” that the information would remain private.
Section 41 covers information that was given in confidence.
Two documents in the dossier are still being covered up and will stay secret for 40 years after a ruling last October when claims about Savile began to emerge.
One, misspelling Savile’s name, is described as “Letter from Jimmy Saville to Prime Minister (undated).”
The other is “Telephone message from Jimmy Savile” dated February 5, 1980.
Last night it was still unclear whose blushes were being spared by those sections remaining blanked out.
Freedom of information campaigners have criticised officials for misusing the rules to keep information secret.
Maurice Frankel, director of the Campaign For Freedom Of Information, said: “They often use these sections to protect the identity of people who are actually players in the decision-making process who ought to be identified.
"Sometimes people haven’t behaved properly and shouldn’t have any expectation of having their identity protected. If you persist, you can succeed in overturning these decisions.”
Former Top Of The Pops presenter Savile was a fundraiser for Stoke Mandeville hospital in Buckinghamshire, where he also preyed on young patients.
One paralysed woman said Savile abused her when she was 13 and recovering in the children’s ward in 1971.
Nurses even warned youngsters “pretend to be asleep” when he visited.
The hospital launched its own inquiry after a catalogue of attacks was revealed across the country, dating back to 1955.
Savile was also allowed in and out of Charles’ residence St James’ Palace when he acted as a marriage guidance counsellor for Charles and Diana.
Charles, who led tributes when Savile died, aged 84, in October 2011, had sent him cigars and gold cufflinks on his 80th birthday.
A note with the gifts read: “Nobody will ever know what you have done for this country, Jimmy. This is to go some way in thanking you for that.”
Last night, a spokeswoman for Charles said the redaction was nothing to do with his office. It was public knowledge that he was patron of that appeal, she said.

And the Cabinet Office added: “As a result of the review of the FOI request, the Cabinet Office decided a small amount of information may be released.
“The reason it was originally redacted is quoted in section 40 and 41.
A review decided that a small extract could be released.”
