Looks like it really was a Gladio plot, and they screwed up BIG TIME!!!

Newsbud Breaking News: Turkey’s Coup Plotters are Members of NATO’s Rapid Deployable Corps
Boiling Frogs Post

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_KAxjZWy-Lk
The three most important regiments involved in the Turkey Attempted Coup plot and implementation have been part (members) of NATO’s Rapid Deployable Corps (NRDC) since 2003.
A group of plotters of the failed Turkish Coup Attempt used a WhatsApp group to communicate with each other. Based on well-documented information and established identities gathered from these intercepted communications, at least three out of the five coupist regiments were (and still are) part of NATO’s Rapid Deployable Corps. Further, the group used the emblem and slogan used by NATO’s Rapid Deployable Corps: “Peace at home, peace in the world.”
The intercepted communications also expose the role of the CIA-Gulen network within Turkey’s police force, and how it readily welcomed and aided the Failed Coup Attempt.
Newsbud news with Sibel Edmonds and Spiro Skouras delves into this significant exposé and provides viewers with context and analyses missing from western media outlets.

'A group of plotters of the failed Turkish coup attempt used a WhatsApp group to communicate with each other. Bellingcat has transcribed, translated, and analysed the conversation, thereby cross-referencing the messages with photos, videos, and news reports of the evening, night, and morning of July 15-16.

The transcript is composed of two different sources. The first source is a video which was uploaded to Twitter in the morning of July 16, and appears to show the conversation on the phone of a surrendered, captured, or killed coup plotter. This video revealed the WhatsApp conversation from its start at 21:15 to 22:45. The second source is 21 photos that show the rest of the conversation, has already been transcribed. The photos are courtesy of Al Jazeera Türk’s Selahattin Günday, and we are thankful that he was willing to share them with Bellingcat. We owe many thanks to “Has Avrat”[1] for fully translating the transcript, as well as contributing to the analysis. All times mentioned are in the local time zone, which is EEST (UTC+3).

This article will chronologically highlight and analyse most the most striking parts of the transcript, including the following:

The WhatsApp group consists of high-ranking military officials, mostly of the Turkish Land Forces, including two Brigadiers and eleven Colonels;
The group is just one coordination group of the coup attempt, as it focuses on (predominantly) land forces in Istanbul and Sakarya only. There were likely other coordination groups for actions elsewhere in Turkey. It is thus important to bear in mind that this is a snapshot of the conversation of some of the coup plotters, and not a full picture;
At least one member of the group communicates with “Ankara”, where the coupist headquarters was located (probably in Akıncı Air Base);
At least three out of the five coupist regiments are part of Turkey’s NATO Rapid Deployable Corps;
The conversation and communication between the coup plotters appears to be chaotic, as several numbers still had to be exchanged amidst the attempt;
Traffic congestion is a problem throughout the night, and so are private broadcasters;
There is a constant repetition regarding taking their superior hostage, the Commander of the First Army;
Air support is requested many times, including the suggestion to strike the Bosporus Bridge;
As the morning breaks, the coup plotters realise it is over. “Shall we escape”, a Colonel asks. “The choice is yours”, he gets as response. “We have not decided yet. But we have left our position. I’m closing the group. Delete the messages if you want”.

A full transcript in both the original Turkish and translated English of the WhatsApp conversation can be viewed and downloaded here as a PDF-file.
2115 — Group created

On July 15, 2016, at 21:15, Major Murat Çelebioğlu creates a WhatsApp group with the name “Yurtta sulh”. This refers to the first two words of a famous sentence pronounced by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the first President of the Republic of Turkey, in 1931: “Yurtta sulh, cihanda sulh”, meaning “Peace at home, peace in the world”. It was later accepted as the approach to foreign policy for Turkey, but also became the slogan of the Turkish Land Forces.

Subsequently, Major Çelebioğlu adds a number of people to the group and tells them that he will be making announcements in the group, and that the members can share importants updates here. “I’ll pass them on to Ankara”, Çelebioğlu says, referring to the coupist headquarters in Ankara........'

I was alerted to the above by Forbidden Knowledge:

'According to Newsbud's Sibel Edmonds, the intercepted communications expose the infiltration of the CIA-Gülen network within Turkey's police
force and show that the coup was staged by the CIA, in partnership with NATO.

Edmonds estimates that over the past 20 years, 20% of the military has been infiltrated by the Gülen Movement and a whopping 70% of Turkey's police forces. Edmonds doubts that any of these discoveries will be
reported by the Western Mainstream Media.

Instead, following the lead of NBC during the night of the coup, several of the most important news outlets in the US and in the UK falsely reported that President Erdogan had fled Turkey and was seeking asylum in
Germany, in what Edmonds calls a classic PsyOp to demoralize theTurkish people.
Edmonds says that this implicates NBC as a co-conspirator in the failed coup.

Edmonds is leading a call for NBC to come clean about their collusion with the CIA and NATO, in propagating this psychological operation by
organizing an Occupy NBC gathering in front of their New York City
headquarters at 30 Rockefeller Plaza this coming Thursday, July 28, at
9:00 AM. If anyone reading this is planning to attend, she asks to please confirm by emailing:
confront@newsbud.com and to join Newsbud's #ConfrontNBC Campaign
on Twitter.

Iran-born Edmonds, a former FBI translator who is fluent in Turkish,
Azerbaijani, Farsi and English is half-Turkish and lived there prior to coming to the US as a student at George Mason University. Although she is not particularly pro-Erdogan, she is very bothered by this covert
assault on Turkish sovereignty by the West. She notes that Turkey
would have been another Libya had this coup succeeded.

Let's hope the aftermath of the coup will be to break US/NATO and Gladio's grip on Turkey. There seems to be an anti-Erdogan bias throughout the MSM - in itself indicative of Western machinations.

Turkish fury after top US general voices concerns over post-coup relations
#TurkeyCoup
Turkish president says US Centcom chief is 'taking side of coup plotters' after raising concerns about future of US-Turkey military cooperation
http://www.middleeasteye.net/news/turkish-fury-after-top-us-general-vo ices-concerns-over-post-coup-relations-1994815677

Friday 29 July 2016 18:38 UTC
Last update: Friday 29 July 2016 19:28 UTC
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday accused a top US general of being on the side of Turkey's coup plotters after commenting that the country's turmoil could downgrade military cooperation with Washington.

"You are taking the side of coup plotters instead of thanking this state for defeating the coup attempt," Erdogan said in angry remarks at a military centre in Golbasi outside Ankara, where air strikes left dozens dead during the failed putsch on 15 July.

"You reveal yourself with your remarks. We will not play your game!" he said.

Turkey has arrested nearly half of its 358 generals for alleged complicity in the plot, forcing a sudden reshuffle at the top of the armed forces and raising fears over the continuity of its military strategy.

During the Aspen Institute's annual security forum on Thursday, US Central Command (Centcom) chief General Joseph Votel said some of the officers arrested and accused of assisting in the coup attempt were key US contacts and their imprisonment affected American military cooperation with Turkey.

“We have certainly had relationships with a lot of Turkish leaders - military leaders in particular. I am concerned about what the impact is on those relationships as we continue," he said.

Until now, Votel said, cooperation and collaboration with Turkey had been "excellent frankly".

At the same event later on in the day, the Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said there was "no question" that the arrest of American interlocutors would "set back and make more difficult the US's Middle East strategy".

The push back over the US officials' comments is the latest incident that has seen tensions between the US and Turkey rise in the wake of the coup, with at least one Turkish media outlet claiming that a US official was behind the coup.

The diplomatic strain is largely over the US-based Muslim cleric Fehullah Gulen whom the Turkish government holds was the mastermind behind the coup and has put pressure on the US to extradite.

US Secretary of State John Kerry has said the US would consider an extradition request, but the government would need to submit evidence which "withstands scrutiny". Turkey's foreign and justice ministers are now scheduled to travel to the US to demand Gulen's return.

In his comments directed at Votel on Friday, Erdogan referenced Gulen: "The coup plotter is already in your country, you are already feeding him."

Adding to the complexities in the already sensitive relationship, the US-led coalition uses the Turkish air base Incirlik for launching raids against the Islamic State group in Syria - but the base turned out to be an important site for the coup plotters. Its commander General Bekir Ercan Van was arrested and electricity was cut to the base for several days.

Turkish Labour Minister Suleyman Soylu even suggested that the United States was behind the coup, but this view has not been echoed by more senior figures.

"Why such a rumour would still be propagated or still be able to find purchase over there, I couldn't begin to guess," said State Department spokesman John Kirby.

Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu told reporters in Ankara that the notion the consequences of the coup would undermine the armed forces in the fight against IS were "ridiculous" and "unfortunate".

Turkey’s “Information Troops” Are Being Trained and Ordered Around by CIA
Column: Politics Region: Middle East Country: Turkey

http://journal-neo.org/2016/08/01/turkeys-information-troops/

We are finally able to distinguish Washington’s plans from behind the disinformation smokescreen that the corporate media has set around the creation of the so-called Turkish “Information Troops.” There’s no doubt that American special services are planning to use them to their full extent now against Russia, since Turkey is widely regarded in NATO as a bridgehead for conflict against Russia.

The primary working tool of Turkey’s new “information special forces” has become the so-called Onion Router, that was developed by the Center for High Assurance Computer Systems (CHACS) of the Office of Naval Research (ONR) within the Free Haven framework. The project was brought into life with the extensive assistance provided by theDefense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), in accordance with the demand of the federal government.

This project was developed with an extensive amount of financial assistance provided by the US Department of Defense and the Department of State. The thinking behind it is that it must serve as an alternative to the official “controlled Internet” to ensure anonymity for users, including those who are engaged in disinformation campaigns in specific states that NATO considers non-friendly.

Starting with the training of a little over 50 Turkish cyberspace commandos in Ukraine last June, instructors from the Pentagon and the CIA have managed to pass on American experience in information warfare to their new recruits. Now Turkey’s “Information Troops.” are going to take advantage of this experience to provoke certain Turkish Internet communities, transforming users into a reliable source of disinformation, who would then spread ideological sentiments favorable toTurkish authorities. The “test run” was executed by those cyberspace commandos in the preparation of the failed military coup in Turkey, along with the use of the local population as cannon fodder, by urging them to take to the streets.

Then, according to the plan drafted in Washington, those commandos launched “a wave of people’s fury” against the alleged masterminds behind the coup. This allowed Tayyip Erdogan to redraw various layers of Turkish society, arresting representatives of the military elite, intellectuals, teachers, judges and even diplomats in one quick sweep.

It’s doesn’t take a genius to establish that Erdogan was so quick to identify external and internal enemies only due to the fact that his actions were pre-planned in such a way as to strike his political opponents in the very heart. It’s no secret that all supporters and even sympathizers of the self-exiled cleric Fethullah Gülen were subjected to harassment and harsh treatement afterwards. Erdogan has already fired 1,700 servicemen, including 149 generals and admirals, shut down 40 media sources, and forced 88 diplomats to resign, including two ambassadors. According to the Turkish news agency Anadolu, at a briefing in Ankara on July 28, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Çavuşoglu announced that there can be other “supporters of Gülen” in the Ministry, so new resignations may be quick to follow. One of the diplomats who was employed at the Turkish consulate in Kazan has even fled to Japan.

Thousands of arrests have not slowed down Turkey’s President however, since the Pentagon and the CIA have clearly demonstrated to him the speed and efficiency with which they can train new cyberspace commandos in Ukraine, therefore Erodgan is convinced that he’ll be able to prepare a sufficient number of new managers and military commanders with relative ease.

There’s an ever increasing number of curious details we are not able to yet learn about the so-called Turkish “Information Troops.” In particular, the top priority for these cyberspace commandos has been selected by Washington and it’s opposing Russia by all possible means. Those troops, like Turkey itself, are under NATO’s command after all, and the North Atlantic Alliance considers Russia to be a primary threat. Therefore, its the Turkish military and not journalists or bloggers that will determine which information deserves the attention of various electronic media and social network groups. Turkish cyberspace commandos have also been trained to collect personal data on Russian soldiers deployed in Syria, forming the so-called list of “international crimes of the Russian army,” etc… All of this will be done under the pretext of carrying out volunteer tasks that benefit Turkey’ society.

It is therefore not surprising that the Senior Defense Official and Defense Attaché – Colonel Carol, along with Canada’s Attaché to Kiev, who is a well-know expert in information warfare, Colonel Ron Ubbens, are both engaged in the “learning process” of Turkish cyberspace commandos in Ukraine to provide them with the idea on how Russia should be targeted. Since the political prospects of Turkey are fairly uncertain, Turkish “Information Troops” are being tasked with confronting Moscow to prevent any attempts for rapprochement that Erdogan may take.

Under these circumstances, Erdogan’s recent desire to “rebuild bridges of friendship with Moscow” and go on a trip to Russia in early August for a personal meeting with President Vladimir Putin, looks at least strange. After all, if one really believes Erdogan intends to establish friendly relations with Moscow, why he does he carry on supporting anti-Russian training programs in Ukraine? And, what’s even more important, does Moscow need a duplicitous partner?

Erdogan owes his life to Putin, who prevented US-led coup in Turkey
Gorazd Velkovski
MINA
Tue, 19 Jul 2016 16:13 UTC
https://www.sott.net/article/323429-Erdogan-owes-his-life-to-Putin-who -prevented-US-led-coup-in-Turkey

The Turkish coup was originally planned for August, when the Greek Government was 'scheduled' to enter a crisis and be itself couped. This way, the entire Balkan would have entered a critical phase, with an end result of installing puppet Governments subservient to the US and a new iron curtain between US controlled Europe and Russia.

There isn't a country that didn't know a coup was underway in Turkey (apparently with the exception of the Turks who were wondering why were there tanks on the Bosphorus bridge). The specific coup-date kept being moved and wasn't known, however CNN's Christiana Amanpour helped everyone narrow it down when she set up base in Ankara and Istanbul just two days before the coup.

The Pentagon has a special relationship with CNN, and typically lets them know when the US is coup-ing a nation, so they can set up camp and report live. CNN's Amanpour has managed to get herself banned from several countries; with good reason - when she shows up in a country, something terrible happens to that country. Turkey was no exception.

Russia, Iran, Syria.... were all aware of a US led coup in Turkey. For this purpose, official Moscow sent one of Putin's advisors to travel to Ankara. The trip was top secret, no one in Tehran, Damascus or even in Moscow was aware of it, only few select in Putin's inner circle.

Aleksandar Dugin was the man that was sent to Ankara to warn the Turkish leadership, but also to give them a massive list of people involved in the coup.

Coup Begun a month earlier after some of the plotters were discovered

The Turkish government secretly asked its Courts to issue order for the arrest of 2,000 army, navy and air force officials after it became evident something was brewing. The Courts refused, on top of it, some of the judges involved in the Coup tipped off high ranking generals that the Government was suspicious and hot on their trail.

As a result, not fully prepapred for a coup, the coup was started anyways.

Pilots who downed Su24 involved in coup

For months Moscow tracked the data and voice conversations of the Turkish pilots responsible for the downing of the Russian Su24 jet. It discovered the two pilots are American implants and were used to shoot down a Russian jet in order to put a major wedge in the otherwsie cozy relationship between Ankara and Moscow. The US used the proven British tactic of "divide and conquer". There were at least several dozen Turkish officers who were American implants at the Incirlik AirBase, the Air Force and the Army as well. All were arrested.

To avoid any sort of suspicion or attract attention, Putin's advisor took an unusual road trip which took Dugin from Moscow to Astana, then to Tehran, Damascus, Nicosia and finally arriving to Ankara where he met with one of Erdogan's most trusted man, the mayor Melih Gokcek.

It's old school KGB, face-to-face meetings work quite well. The Russians have gathered so much data in the past several months, that they knew precisely when, who and how the coup will start.

Initially, Erdogan's inner team were not told of Dugin's arrival in Turkey.

In the interest of better Russo-Turkish relationship and mutual trust, Erdogan was now officially warned. The warning was also psychological because it came "just in time", and was meant to show Erdogan and Turkey who their real friends are.

Hence the face to face meeting. Putin didn't have to do what he did, could have warned them 10 minutes before the coup, or don't warn them at all and simply let everything unfold the way the Americans envisioned.

Turkish Fighter Jets had Erdogan's plane in sight, but...

After waiting for full 24 hrs not saying absolutely anything, the Pentagon and CIA controlled media in the US went full throttle with propaganda when it became obvious their coup had failed. We saw hastily prepapred writeups how allegedly Erdogan has simply staged the coup to grab 'more power', adding his presidential plane was in sights of few Turkish F16 yet no one took a shot? First and foremost, the planes that were sent after Erdogan took off from Incirlik Airbase, which is very much controlled by the US-NATO. Second, at no point did the US make an effort to warn the Turkish Government about the coup, yet it has fighter jets taking off from Incirlik, going after Erdogan!

Indeed, Erdogan's plane was followed by several Turkish planes with an intention to shoot him down. Fettulah Gulen in Pennsylvania, a long time CIA asset was getting ready himself to be installed as the new president.

What the 'media' are not telling you is that 7 Russian fighter jets and two S400 rocket systems in Northern Syria were tracking down the Turkish jets issuing them a warning if the Russian radar systems picked up any activity from them they would be promptly shot down. This is why the Turkish jets never fired, they had 'company'.

Ankara's mayor didn't waste a second. Came out on CNN and furiously announced Washington was behind the coup, and yes he had received all the necessary information prior to his announcement. He was the third high ranking Turkish official to accuse the US of leading the coup within a 20 minute span.

Why is Erdogan purging generals, judges... Where did he get this list of people tied with the coup?

Although the Government had suspects on their own, they received a large list from Moscow as well. This is why the US Ambassador in Ankara is practically in hiding and when he isn't he is a stuttering mess. But the most interesting thing here is the fact that several Turkish generals have already admitted of taking part in the Coup, and the real kicker, they have also elaborated on the role the US played. The political statements we heard from Washingon have zero credibility, per their usual. There is no explanation how 42 helicopters went missing from Incirlik air base. This is why the Turkish Government encircled the base with 2,500 cops, cut off power to the entire Airbase, defacto telling the US "we know what you're doing".

In the end, the coup plotters and their tanks in the streets were defeated by unarmed Turkish citizens.

Now Erdogan ‘wants to smash secret NATO army’ over alleged role in Turkey coup
PRESIDENT Recep Tayyip Erdogan wants to destroy a secret NATO army over its alleged role in the failed military coup.
By Katie Mansfield

Turkish media now claims operatives from the clandestine Cold War Operation Gladio took part in the bloodbath which killed 294 people and injured more than 1,400 others.

Turkey's government says the coup attempt was orchestrated by followers of Fethullah Gulen, a Muslim cleric who has lived in self-imposed exile in the United States since 1999.

Mr Gulen denies the charge and has condemned the coup.

Gladio in Turkey must be eliminated

Ozcan Tikit

Conspiracy theories over foreign involvement have been fuelled by Turkish media, with some claiming Mr Gulen is a member of the NATO secret army.

Operation Gladio was the codename for a clandestine NATO operation in Italy during the Cold War to prepare for and carry out armed resistance there in the event of a Warsaw Pact invasion and conquest.

Turkish journalist Ozcan Tikit wrote in Turkish newspaper Habertürk: “If one wants to again create relationship of trust with the Western institutions, Gladio in Turkey must be eliminated as it already was in several Western countries.”

President Erdogan is said to be determined to remove Gladio from Turkey.

Turkish propaganda claims the secret network is responsible for a number of political murders in the country.

The claim comes just days after President Erdogan fuelled speculation that the United States was involved in the coup.

He told Turkish media that Gulen was a pawn backed by a “mastermind”.

The Turkish President often refers to a "mastermind" in his speeches, a reference widely seen as an allusion to the West in general and the United States (US) more specifically.

The US has denied any involvement and any prior knowledge of the failed attempt to overthrow the government.

Turkey is currently under a state of emergency.

Former head of Turkish intelligence services Bülent Orakoglu has claimed NATO’s secret army is working to destroy the European Union (EU).

Since the failed coup President Erdogan’s government has rounded up 60,000 people including rebels, judges, civil servants and teachers.

Turkish politicians have been frustrated by US and European criticism of the purge that has followed the coup, accusing the West of greater concern about the rights of the plotters than the gravity of the threat to a NATO member state.

As part of the crackdown President Erdogan has issued two decrees dismissing around 3,000 members of NATO's second-biggest armed forces since the coup, including more than 40 per cent of generals.

He has also shut down military high schools and brought force commanders under tighter government control.

In the next 40 hours Turkey complete an overhaul of its intelligence agency and make new appointments to its gendarmerie as it tries to rid its security apparatus of reported followers of Mr Gulen.

Turkey may seek other options outside NATO for defense industry cooperation, although its first option is always cooperation with its NATO allies, Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Thursday.
In an interview with private broadcaster NTV, Cavusoglu also said that a political transition in Syria with President Bashar al-Assad was not possible.

'Turkish admiral 'claims asylum in US' after failed coup':
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-37032171

'A high-ranking Turkish military officer has reportedly claimed asylum in the United States after authorities in Turkey linked him to the failed coup.
Mustafa Ugurlu had been on a posting to a Nato base in Virginia at the time of the 15 July botched coup.
Turkey has purged its military ranks of some 100 generals accused of being part of a shadowy movement that follows a US-based Turkish preacher.
Rear Adm Ugurlu disappeared on 22 July, a week after the coup.
US officials told Reuters news agency that an unnamed rear admiral was seeking asylum, and he was later named by Anadolu Agency as Mustafa Ugurlu.
Military espionage case
It comes at a difficult moment in relations between the two Nato allies as Turkey is seeking the extradition from the US of the cleric accused of masterminding the coup, Fethullah Gulen. He denies involvement....'

Top USA National Security Officials Admit Turkey Coup
31.08.2016 Author: F. William Engdahl
Column: Politics Region: USA in the World

While the Obama Administration and the CIA officially cling to the fig leaf lie that US intelligence was innocent of any involvement in the failed July 15 coup d’ etat attempt by the CIA-run Fethullah Gülen organization in Turkey, the truth is coming out from senior US intelligence insiders themselves. It reflects a huge internal faction struggle within US leading circles in what by all accounts is shaping to be the most bizarre Presidential election year in American history.

The first admission that US intelligence had their hand in the anti-Erdogan coup, a coup launched just days after Erdogan announced a major strategic shift away from NATO and towards Russia, came from Zbigniew Brzezinski. Brzezinski is one of the most senior members of the US intelligence establishment, a former Obama Presidential adviser and former National Security Council architect of the Jimmy Carter 1979 Mujahideen Afghanistan terror operations against the Soviet forces in that country.

In a Twitter tweet from his own blog, Brzezinski wrote a precis of a new article he wrote for The American Interest magazine. He writes, “The US backing of the attempted coup against the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was a grave mistake that could deliver a major blow to the US reputation.” That’s definitely putting it mildly given what’s unfolding in Turkey since July 15.

Brzezinski went on to write, “Turkey was on the verge of reconsidering its foreign policy after failure in the Syria during the last five years, and the US miscalculation in supporting the coup and hosting its leader (Fethullah Gülen, now in CIA-arranged exile in Pennsylvania-w.e.) was so serious that it is no longer possible to put the blame on once-US-ally Turkey if it turns its back on US and rethink (sic) its policies.” He continues, “A potential Russia-Turkey-Iran coalition would create an opportunity to solve the Syrian crisis. If Erdogan had the smallest bit of wisdom, he should have come to the understanding that he could not make an independent credibility with the help of some ‘decayed’ Arab countries,” no doubt referring to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, the prime financiers of the Syrian terror war against Assad since 2011.

Brzezinski, who together with Henry Kissinger was one of the foremost US foreign policy strategists of the postwar period, the founding Executive Director of David Rockefeller’s Trilateral Commission, and one who still today presumably retains Top Secret clearance access to US intelligence reports, was expressing his fury at the utter incompetence of US intelligence in managing the Turkey relationship. Notably, the person in the US State Department directly responsible for not only the disastrous US coup in February, 2014 in Ukraine, but also for Turkey, is the hapless neo-con perpetual warrior-ess, Victoria “* the EU” Nuland, wife of neo-con Robert Kagan.

Brzezinski’s candid critique was followed up by an even more detailed expose of US intelligence ties to Fethullah Gülen, charged by the Turkish government with treason and backing the July 15 coup. In a guest article in the EU online mgazine EurActiv.com dated 17 August, 2016, Arthur H. Hughes confirms the intimate links between Gülen and the CIA, noting that “Gülen fled to the US with the assistance of the diplomat Morton Abramovitz, CIA agents Graham Fuller and George Fidas, and the above-mentioned Fr. Alexander Karloutsos.”

Gülen CIA friend Bartholomew I

Hughes’ article is a bombshell in many respects, and most definitely in his detailing of the intimate ties between the CIA, Gülen and the current Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew I of Constantinople, current Archbishop of Constantinople and Ecumenical Patriarch. Hughes described the above-mentioned Father Alexander Karloutsos:

“…one of the members of the American-Israeli lobby in the Constantinople Patriarchate is Father Alexander Karloutsos, Public Affairs Officer close to Archbishop Demetrios (of America-w.e.). Thanks to his ties with high-level officials and Greek-American billionaires, he is basically the only person who controls the money flows from the US to the Phanar (the Greek Orthodox part of Istanbul-w.e.), and that gives him wide possibilities of exerting pressure upon the Ecumenical Patriarchate. On the other hand, Karloutsos is also in good relations with former CIA Director George Tenet, and with the preacher Fethullah Gülen cooperating with the American intelligence.”

George Tenet, a close ally of the Clinton political machine is a Greek-American former head of CIA during the time of Bill Clinton and also George W. Bush. The Clintons are both on record praising Fethullah Gülen. It seems to be a cozy network of CIA-Gülen-Constantinople Patriarchate-Clintons, all financed with “money from Greek-American billionaires.”

Arthur H. Hughes is not a casual commentator on events in Turkey and the Middle East. He was US Ambassador to Yemen in the 1990’s during the Clinton Presidency, then Deputy Assistant to the Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs. He also served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Near East and South Asia, and was Deputy Chief of Mission in Tel Aviv. His linking of Gülen to the CIA and to the Constantinople Patriarchate points to one of the least-public and most influential covert CIA-run networks in the world, the anti-Moscow Orthodox Patriarchate of Patriarch Bartholomew I of Constantinople. Hughes suggests that if Erdogan and the Turkish government are serious about dealing with future coup threats, they should put the Constintanople Patriarchate under the magnifying glass.

As I’ve documented in my book, The Lost Hegemon: Whom the gods would destroy, Graham E. Fuller and George Fidas, both decades-long senior CIA officials managed to secure an extraordinary permanent residence in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, over the loud formal objections of the US State Department, in 1999, when Gülen was about to be charged by the Turkish authorities for inciting treason.

Most recently, Fuller felt compelled to write on his blog that, indeed he did help Gülen obtain a US green card, but that no, Gülen was not behind the failed July 15 coup. However Turkish reports place Fuller and another senior CIA ally, Henri J. Barkey, at a luxury hotel on one of the Princes’ Islands in the Sea of Marmara, some twenty minutes from Istanbul the night of the failed coup. In a subsequent appearance at a Washington think tank forum held by the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, a neo-con address whose chairman is former CIA director, neo-con James Woolsey III, Barkey and his host tried to make a feeble joke about his presence in Istanbul the night of the coup and his ties to Gülen.

For once, Brzezinski is right.

The CIA-Gülen coup d’etat attempt to topple Erdogan after his turn towards rapprochement with Moscow was “a grave mistake.” The consequences, aside from a massive crackkdown on Gülen networks and media inside Turkey, include an open dialogue of Erdogan and the Turkish government of Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım with Russia and now with Iran, about a “solution” to the Syrian war that would include Bashar al-Assad as at least a transition figure.

The Erdogan pivot East since the failed CIA coup has forced the Pentagon to quietly remove its nuclear warheads from Turkey’s Incirlik airbase near the Syrian border to Romania. At the same time, Turkey’s Prime Minister on August 20 stated to the media that Russia could possibly use Turkey’s Incirlik Airbase if necessary, something that certainly produced more acute gas pains in Langley, Foggy Bottom (the more than fitting name for the US State Department headquarters), and the Obama White House.

July 15 may go down in history as one of the most decisive defeats of American global power projection, of the so-called New World Order of David Rockefeller and friends. If so, not a minute too soon for the prospect of a more peaceful world.

'Gas From Israel And The Flynn Wiretapping - Behind The Deep-State Infighting Over The Trump Election':
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/46746.htm

'..... The former director of the CIA under Clinton, James Woolsey, went to the Wall Street Journal and offered some information (likely some true and some false) on the retired General Flynn and the lobbying businesses he was involved in. Woolsey is an arch-neoconservative. He had worked on the transition team of Trump but got fired over "growing tensions over Trump’s vision for intelligence agencies." Flynn is the former National Security Advisor of Trump who later also got fired. Woolsey was a board member of Flynn's former lobbying company FIG.

Woolsey claims: In September 2016 he took part in a meeting between Flynn and high level Turkish officials, including the Turkish foreign minister and the energy minister who is the son-in-law of the Turkish president Erdogan. During the meeting, Woolsey claims, a brainstorming took place over how the Turkish cult leader Fethullah Gülen could -probably by illegal means- be removed from the U.S. and handed over to Turkey.

Gülen is accused by the Erdogan mafia of initiating a coup attempt against it. The U.S. claims officially that there is no evidence for such an accusation and that Gülen can therefore not be rendered to Turkey. Gülen is an old CIA asset that helped the U.S. deep state to control Turkey. Erdogan divorced from the Gülen organization after it became useless for his neo-Ottoman project.

Here is the WSJ report on the Woolsey claims and a video clip with parts of his WSJ interview. Woolsey also went on CNN where he repeated his WSJ story.

Flynn was accused by the anti-Trump campaign to have worked for Russia. He had taken several $10,000 for speeches he gave in Moscow. He also, at times, had argued for better U.S. relations with Russia. But Flynn's pro-Russia stand was probably honest. (Or the bribes involved were just smaller than the ones paid by others.) The money he got on the speaker circus was rather small for a man in his position.

Flynn's real corruption was on another issue. After having been fired from the Trump administration, Flynn retroactively filed under the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA). His lobbying firm had a contract over $530,000 to work for a company near to the Turkish president Erdogan:

In its filing, Mr. Flynn’s firm said its work from August to November “could be construed to have principally benefited the Republic of Turkey.” The filing said his firm’s fee, $530,000, wasn’t paid by the government but by Inovo BV, a Dutch firm owned by a Turkish businessman, Ekim Alptekin.

This lobbying, not the alleged Flynn-Putin relation, is the real scandal and part of the Trump/CIA/Clinton deep-state in-fighting.

The meeting Woolsey described was under the "Turkish" Flynn contract. The Turkish business man, and owner of Inovo, Ekim Alptekin is a member of the Erdogan gang. But hidden at the very end of the WSJ story is the real key to understand the shady network:

Inovo hired Mr. Flynn on behalf of an Israeli company seeking to export natural gas to Turkey, the filing said, and Mr. Alptekin wanted information on the U.S.-Turkey political climate to advise the gas company about its Turkish investments.....'
